Can I tell you JUST how much I love my little angel baby Alexis Caroline?! Oh my gosh.. she is just the tiny little love of my life!! Every single day I am so thankful for her… just when I think I couldn’t possibly love her any more… I DO!
Her personality is absolutely amazing… she is so happy, goofy, loving, smiley and giggly… I just can’t get enough of her!! No matter what sort of mood I’m in she can ALWAYS make me smile… I can’t even look at her without smiling and telling her how cute she is or how much I love her!! Pretty much all day (whether I’m walking around the house, in the shower, cooking dinner, driving in the car… well… basically 24/7) I am singing songs about Alexis and how cute she is and how much I love her and stuff… she loves them! Sometimes I find myself doing it even if she is sleeping, or isn’t even around at all! haha… I find that I’m more like my OWN mom every day!
She sure does love her big brother and sister too… all they have to do is walk in the room and she thinks its hysterical!! They love to get her giggling so hard she can barely breathe… its the cutest thing in the world! Nothing melts my heart more than to hear ALL my kids laughing together… its like getting a little glimpse of heaven or something! I know that sounds corny, but I’m serious… it makes my heart smile! :)
She makes people happy just by being around… when we go to the store EVERY person we walk by either has to smile at her, stop and look, or have a conversation with me/her over how adorable she is – her beautiful smile – and her BIG amazing eyes! She gets more attention than any baby I have ever seen in my life… I’m flattered that everyone finds her so gorgeous, but it makes for accomplishing anything very difficult! haha…
One of the most beautiful things I have seen is the way my Grandpa looks at her. The last time we went to visit them Alexis was a little bit attached to mommy… but that didn’t make Grandpa any less THRILLED to see her! Every time I looked at him he was just staring at Alexis with a perma-grin on his face… even when she was being crabby or just sleeping! I could see that just being in her presence totally made his day… week… or maybe month for that matter!! I can’t remember the last time I saw my Grandpa smile that much… its been years… and its something I will NEVER forget!!
She truly is the light of my life and I don’t know what I would do without her… I don’t know what I did BEFORE her for that matter!
